6 month old Jack eating blankets and tennis balls!

Hi guys I could use your help,

My 6 month old Jack who is a pleasant, happy and well feed little puppy has now taken to eating the ends of her fleece blanket and swallowing it when she's put to bed at night and Ive had to take her tennis balls off her because she was swallowing every bit she could rip off.
She is feed and watered twice a day plus treats when she's training and a raw carrot (which she inhales)to help with her teeth when she goes to bed.
I don't want to have to take her blanket off her as it's cold enough weather right now but Im afraid of the pieces of blanket getting wrapped up in her intestines.
Did or has anyone ever had this problem?
I'd appreciate any help i can get thank you :)

we have the same problem
by: kati

We have a 4 month old male jack russell and he's also eats anything and everything. Toys, stuffing, etc. He throws up weird stuff all the time and we're having a hard time getting it under control. He has a rawhide and a kong, but sometimes I think he'd just rather be naughty!

My Jack Russell, (one year old), does the same thing, eating fuzz of tennis balls, in fact, eats almost everything she finds. We give her rawhide bones, she loves those, but, that girl will eat almost anything she sees. She is a very smart dog, she is in our backyard most of the time, chasing lisards, squirrels, whatever. Once there was a watermoccasion snake in the yard, she tackled that, but, that snake ran away, and thank the LORD, she did not get bit. Good luck with your Jack Russell. Dotty

Thebdog needs more exercise and interactive play time with you. also try kongs with wet food put in freezer They will keep dogoccupied. Dog play dates will also tire him. my email is merryann38@hotmail.com. let me know how things go.

JRT eating tennis balls
by: Deborah

Do not let your JRT eat the tennis balls the fuss is dangerous for them and the bad thing about them is the balls are made in china and they could care less about us and it can cause alot of harm...My Boy JRT Elvis used to do the same thing now I only buy him raquet balls they are alot safer...
Good Luck
