Hello,
We just got an 8-week old JRT and she uses pee pads quite nicely but during play time she will drop her toy and start ripping up pee pads. She has taken little chunks out of the pee pads which we then fish out from her mouth. We are concerned that she will swallow a piece when we are not looking and that this will be harm her health. We are trying to teach her the "leave it" command and distract her with squeaky toys but sometimes she's too fast to stop. Does anyone have recommendations on how to stop this behavior? What about some bitter spray on the pads?
Thanks in advance!
