A second male Jack Russell dog?

by Darren Tubridy
(Belfast)

Hi. We have a male Jack Russell called Mario. We want to get another jack Russell after our holiday and we were thinking of getting another male. Will they fight with each other? Cause that is a concern of ours. We don't want either dog to get hurt. We don't want Mario fighting with the new pup whenever we get it. What advice can you give us?

Same-sex aggression is well documented....definitely with females but it can happen with males. I would look into getting a Jack Russell of the opposite sex.
