A Soulful Second

With my husband in Australia for 6 months, I took the opportunity to deal with the upheaval of having a puppy while he was away.


As he took the camera with him, and I wanted to capture his puppyhood while he was still cute, I found a young photographer who was working on a pet portfolio.

Here is my favourite. I say a "Soulful Second" as it isn't Dougal's usual demeanour.

He's actually a Parson Russell Terrier, from Brackenhill Kennels in Bancroft Ontario.

What a wonderful idea to have a professional come and take shots. I may have to do the same!
I love that shot of Dougal, he looks very pensive and indeed soulful.
