Jack Russell getting older
by: Garrett

We just recently faced this and it is a very very tough thing to go through. Our Jack was 16 and we recently decided that it was time. Our vet told us that a good time to do this was when she didn't seem to be enjoying her daily life for example she didn't seem to enjoy eating and being pet or going for walks. We were lucky that we were able to find a vet that came to our house to put her down. That was a big comfort to us that it could be done there.

I wish you much luck in this very hard choice. I think you will know when the time is right.

We have since adopted a new little Jack Russell puppy since we just love the breed so much!
