I have a Jack Russell that is six months old. She is a beautiful dog. But just recently she has become very depressed, not wanting to eat or really play like she use to. With the vets advice we got a second dog, this has seemed to pick up her attitude towards food and life really. But then we had to move and she has been staying with my mum and dad. Since then she has been having bouts of runny poo, which some times looks a very dark brown or a redish colour (which i originally thought mite have been blood) and has on occassions vomiting... the vet has put her on a very bland chicken and rice diet. But some times this has continued.
I am wondering if any one elses Jack Russell is prone to getting extreme anxiety where they actually get sick?
She is a very excitable little dog, as most Jack Russells are, and the vet thinks it could just be beause she is missing being with us and her usual routine.
Does anyone elses Jack Russell hate a change in enviroment???
