Bladder problems

Hi, we adopted a 2 yearold recently that is pregnant and now urinates only on material (any kind of cloth)HER BED.Then has to lie down next to it.Is this normal during their pregnancy,or does she have a bladder problem ? If i put newspaper next to her bed,she urinates on her bed and then lies on the newspaper ??

It might pay to double check with your Vet especially since she is pregnant. However, it could be that she has had a lot of changes recently - with the pregnancy and the adoption and that has caused a bit of regression. If there are no medical issues it could help to do some potty training with her. Take her out on a frequent schedule especially after meals and immediately reward her after going outside with a treat. Also, dogs have a keen sense of smell so you will probably have to triple wash the bed or consider a new one for her.
