Chewing feet

I have a 2nd old jack Russell who recently chewed the hair off her tail a few weeks back we left it alone, took her to the vet they said everything was fine, this week she has chewed the side of her front paw and now it looks swollen, red & oozy! What do I do for her until I can get her back into the vet?!?!!!!!

Chewing on feet/tail
by: Paddy's Mom

Dissolve 1 Benadryl in 1/4 C. water thoroughly, dab it on the itchy spot several times a day. It helps some dogs. it cannot hurt. Just don't do too much of it. . This can also be used as a last rinse after a bath... in a cup of water.. all over... for itchy doggies. Good luck! and def GO TO THE VET.
