Ok have been to the vet 3 times... Chloe keeps getting raw itch ears and scratches so bad that her eyes is bloody around it.. and at times has a brown running fluid she also has raw itchy spots behind front paws.. vet gave us antibotice 2x also told us to change her food which we did to Natures Choice rice and Oatmeal.. I can't keep affording to go to vet at $200 a pop do you have any suggestions?

skin problem
by: Anonymous

My jack Russell had a skin problem on his paws, round his eyes and on his ears.It got so bad at one point his paws were bleeding. The vet kept giving creams but nothing worked.I read an article some where that suggested putting him on a fish and potato diet, and his skin has completely cleared up.

we have just purchased a jack russel/westie (pippa)she is lovely + is now 16 weeks old + has no characteristic of a westie whatsoever she is still very small + has a pointy type of head which is small too. We have another dog who is a 4yr old border collie (the breed we normally have) she has accepted pippa really well they snuggle together & play together in fact they play like our 2 borders played but shes a lot smaller, (the play isn't violent or any cause to worry about) We've looked at westie puppies but in no way resembles one. We got her seller from pre-loved pets we were told she was the only bitch left so we went to bamber bridge(preston) to get her there was another dog there which was brindle (was supposed to e the same breed as our puppy) he did not look well at all + was quickly taken in also a pug there for sale. Our pup had had her 1st injection + wormed but her belly was swollen she said the pup had just been fed, we brought our pup home + took her to the vets for her 2nd needle + a check up the next day she gave her a wormer + 1 for us to give later. When checking her vaccination card we saw that her 1st vaccination in Wales we're just a bit worried she came from a puppy farm although shes a very healthy lovely + very lively pup + not completely sure there is any westie in her ar all. As we said before she is a small dog + now 17 weeks old shes white + short haired with light tan spots on her + her small head. We're just letting people know to be more vigalant than us but we do love her
