color is changing

My six year old JRT/Rat cross is suddenly changing color and getting more spots. Is this normal? She is healthy and a wonderful dog and I just want to be sure she is ok.

Not to worry about your little one, she's totally fine. The spots are called "ticking" and are usualy found on the under coat.

Many PRT and Jrt have them and they usually are not born with them. They can be snowy white when puppies but as the grow they develop this pigmentation.

Our Jack is covered with them on her belly. It's very cute!
