our Buddy doesn't seem to get the right idea about toilwting either....
by: Ian

Our Buddy, a full JRT at 6 months, just can't get his head around toilet training. He can be outside for an hour yet will pee and poo when he comes back in the house. He always makes his business in the same locations. We were advised to make sure that we clean these areas thouroughly so that there is no odour left as this just acts like a marker and seems to let him justify his actions. We do clean very rigourlessly but it still makes no difference. To be fair he can go outside, and he will let us know when he is ready, but this is still a small percentage compared to the amount that he does in the house. Any ideas?

I would try to crate train your jack it sounds like he had a terrible life till you adopted or saved him but that is my suggestion.Good Luck
