My JRT name is Solo, she is a year and a half and within the last month she has started to lose her hair and have brown spots all over. She was a really beautiful JRT and I need to know whats going on and how to solve this problem. She is very energetic and plays all day and night. No changes in attitude or disposition. Just the loss of hair and brown spots. Please help!!!!

JRT with brown spots and hair loss
by: Betty

Your poor little girl, I'm so sorry you are going through this. I would get Solo checked out at the vet just case because there are some diseases tied to hair loss. However it could just be allergies. Either way, I recommend adding Omega 3's over her food to help. Also, make sure you are feeding her a grain free diet since grains are known to cause allergies. A high quality food helps too. Good luck!
