Take your dog to the vet, not a Emergency vet, way to much. NEW
by: Diana

My babygirl Cherry is about 12 or 13 years old, I had her about 8 years now. She has been the best dogie ever and still is,she was never a whiner, just a loving dog, always wanting and giving love. She been a pretty calm dog, she use to run around and play and chase people around in a playful way;but she is so laid back now and still so loving. Anyway, about 6 years ago she started this shaking thing and her belly would get so tight and bloated, I taken her to the vet and they did blood work and x-rays ect. They found out that she has an enlarged heart and they said they couldn't do nothing for my babgirl, but gave me blood pressure pills. She was doing fine for about five years and then she would stat like this coughing thing and shaking and her belly would get tight and bloated looking again. But not even 2 months ago,she was attack by a stray pit bull, which tore her skin off around her neck area, taken her to a Emergency vet, which ended cost $1,600.00 for them to do surgery on her, she handle it like a champ and she already heal up on the outside; she handle the healing process well, with no crying or whining or shaking. But this pass 8 days I don't know what's wrong with my baby Cherry, she went through so much and heal so good and fast. She hasn't had a bowel movement in about 7 days and the pass two days she only drank water, with stool softener mix in her water for the pass three days,I'm thinking that maybe the trauma she went through getting attack and by her having heart problems has played a toll on her, but she was doing so well up to a week ago. I know and feel the end of my best friend is coming near and it's so hard to handle, hoping she will snap out of this ; like she always does; but my gut feeling is telling me something else .

Jack Russell not feeling well NEW
by: Roberta

So sorry to hear your Jack isn't feeling well! It does sound like you have some valid concerns...have you brought her in to the vet? Shivering can be a sign of pain. I'm wondering if she might have injured herself somehow. Let us know what you find out, hope she is ok!
