early breeding of jack russell terrier question

I would like to find a more detailed history of early
breeding of Russells. I know foxes were used, any chance wolves were used? My
guy has longer legs than usual and he is not a barker. Has wolf markings on his
face. Other than that he is all Jack Russell. Thnx mcv
