We have rescued a JRT and find him irresistible. We are seasoned pet owners and now have 4 dogs in all. The JRT has made himself a new home by polite overtures to the other dogs and obeying commands. My question is this: All the pictures of JRTs that I can find show their ears to drop. This dog has straight, pointed ears much like a Doberman. Is this a breed variation? or do I have a Rat Terrier.
