I have a 1 year old jack russell girl.. she is so loving and extremely nice and playful with other dogs even my friends 10 week old pug girl. I now want to get another jack russell but I have read not to get a girl? Should i only consider a boy ? Thanks

It's true what you read - it's better to have one of each because two females can get very aggressive with each other because they compete for pack order. The fighting can be bad if it's the wrong mix. I personally wouldn't take that chance and would think about getting a male so you don't have to worry as much.
