Bringing in another Jack
by: Barry

It depends on what you are looking for. I don't think your Jack would mind a playmate. If you think you can handle two young dogs and have the room and energy, then it should be fine. I'm sure you know that puppies can be a lot of work so you may want to wait until your Jack girl is out of the puppy stage. If you do get another Jack, most people recommend that you get one of the opposite sex since the same sex tend to fight more especially females. Also, I would google some ways to introduce your current dog to a new dog. The key is to go slowly, meet on neural ground (like a sidewalk rather than your house) and keep the meeting brief. Do it a few times until the dogs are comfortable with each other and then work on doing the same at the house. Good luck with whatever you decide!
