How old is too old?

Hi, I have a 6 year old Jack Russell (21" long, 12" tall) and was wondering if she was too old to breed for the first time?

How old is too old to breed Jack Rusell

I was told that many breeders use 5 and 6 as a cut off age for females. Since your Jack hasn't been over bred (obviously since this would be the first time) then I think it should be fine but please take into consideration that the pregnancy could be potentially hard on her at that age.
