My Jack is now 2 1/2 years old and I am still having quite a time with her and the cat. She insists on chasing her everytime my cat comes around. The cat would like to be friends with her but she just acts so crazy that my cat wants nothing to do with her. I have to constantly keep them apart and I really wish they could co-exist together. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Henry and Eddie, the cat by: Marion
Hello Cooper, we have a JRT now for nearly 5 months. He is doing well with our four cats but not every cat gets the same attention. He likes our Eddie, he is a black and white one. I think, those cats have a lot of charakter. Eddie is very bold, he fears nothing, not even a car. He plays with Henry, sometimes very rough. But Henry allows him to eat from his food, also Milli, our female cat, can do that. He lays in front of her and watching her eat. But with our older cats its a different story. Sometimes they come too close to his toys or bones, which he burried them on the sofa or somewhere else. Than he chases them or kneels them. I let him know that I dont tolerate this with my voice. He knows exactly what I say to him.
So please dont give up with your puppy. Let him know that it is not ok to chase cats, that they are family, too.
