Snapping Jack Russell
by: Anonymous

That wonderful that you adopted and saved this Jack. In addition to giving love, attention, exercise and working on basic commands.....look to see what is causing his snapping. Is it because he is excited or scared? Is it because he is being territorial over food or a toy? f it's not because he is excited or scared it is ok to scold him with a firm no and give him a time out(make sure it's for the right reason and that you have exhausted other training options).

Be careful of your body language and posture around. Make sure you are bending down and getting on his level.
