jack russell pup (8weeks)

my puppy jack russell shakes alot. does any one know why this is? is it common in these dogs?

Given the age of this post, I'd take that OP got over it but still putting in the response anyway.

I got a JRT pup when he was 7 weeks old and he did shake a lot for about a 3-4 days before he got settled with the house/surroundings and people around.

So, it might just be that or if it continues for more than a week or two, than it's an issue.

There is something called White Shaker Syndrome. Its common among small breeds. Usually excitement, stress or fear really brings it out. There is not much you can do for it except keep your Jack on neutral emotions. But there are other things that could be causing the shaking so I would check with your vet.
