Jack Russell puppies brother and sister! Good or bad?

by Jade Bristow

Me and my partner are thinking about getting a brother and sister from the same litter. We have fell in love with both puppies and when we ask other dog owners some say yes and others no! The breeders have said that when they first had jack russell puppies they had a brother and sister and it was ok!

We really do not know what to do and would really appreciate some help

Thanks in advance

Jack brother and sister

Two Jacks at any age are a lot of work but a brother/sister are not always the best combo. Sometimes they can fight more then others especially over the alpha role and often times the two dogs can bond more to each other than their owners. It's better to get a sibling pair from different litters and are different ages.
