Jack Russell puppy is always biting

My puppy is always biting – nibbling at my ankles, and toes – we have tried to give her more chew toys and that doesn’t work – what suggestions do you have?

Unfortunately, biting is a part of the puppy process as they go through teething phases, where they bit in order to relieve discomfort. Tell your puppy "no" in a firm voice when he bites something he's not supposed to (i.e. your ankles). Then go ahead and give him a replacement toy that he is allowed to chew on ( i.e. a rope bone).
