He is a5 year old jackapoo now no use of both rear legs but though seeming confused by this lack otherwise seems relatively normal tail wagging. Head up happy what could this be and what should i do are jack russell prone to hip dysplasia?

Jackapoo loss of hind legs
by: Mary

I am wondering if it is a slipped disc - something similar happened to my Jack and that is what it was. Or it could be a pinched nerve. Or hip dysplasia or an ACL injury. If he is not in any pain then I would think you should try bed rest for a few days (very very very limited activity, crating might be a good idea to stop activity). If things don't get better then a trip to the vet would be good to get a more definitive answer. Good luck, hope everything is ok!
