Training mixed breeds
by: Tom

Hi Nykie,

This is a pretty common issue, which is why I dedicated a chapter in my ebook to Jack mix breeds. A good rule of thumb is to go by the way the dog looks. Studies have shown that a mix who looks more like a Jack than a Poodle will act more like a Jack than a Poodle. That said, you should have a good basic knowledge of both breeds so that you can understand which breed's traits she exhibits the most, and adjust accordingly.
