I have a female shortie jack. She is 17. She got pancreatitis and spent a couple days at the vet. All is well except she would not eat the food they wanted to give her, so I took chicken breast and rice and she gobbled it up. Vet said to give her that if that’s what she will eat doing good for 3 days eating. But now she won’t have a bowel movement. Took her back and they checked her anal glands and they needed to be expressed. And he said that there was poop showing when he inserted his finger. Thought that the anal glands might have been the problem. So now today she doesn’t want to eat. No throw up , and she’s drinking water and peeing fine. Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated
