is my sprocket coming into season?she is not swollen etc but is digging under the fence and at the wall to get outside in the house.she cleans herself alot anyway but i have noticed more of this for the last week.today i caught her humping my 13 year old bitches leg(much bigger bitch lol).she seems to have increased her hyponess (which i didnt think possible) and is much hungrier than usual.she also is more obsessed with my husband which i find amusing.any ideas if this is season signs and what to do or if it is the next adolesance stage?i was going to start training her off the lead soon as she is a fast learner but do not want to if this is the case.any help out there would be great as i am used to bigger breeds.i am learning lots with her and the fact that jr are a very different breed to any other.this is a challenge i am loving.such a wonderful companion to our family is growing in such a challenging yet amusing way

She did come in season eventually and has now decided even though it's over to start peeing in her crate and against my front door the little Madame.she is also still humping the leg of my poor 14 year old bitches leg lol.she seems to scrounge for food constantly and during season started trying to get in the bins.hopefully this will all stop again but her season has been over officially for a fortnight and she seems to have gone backwards

Jack Russell coming into season
by: Dina

Yes, definitely sounds like she is coming into season. The licking and humping especially. Usually the swelling does accompany this as well so be on the lookout for this. Also, keep those male canine suitors away!
