JRT Tummy Issues

We have a five year old female JRT. One every two weeks or so she starts eating grass and barfs. After this, she is perfectly fine. Other times, her stools bounce between runny and normal firmness. She is often very gassy and you can hear her intestines gurgling when she sits next to you. She is a happy, active and loving dog. Are JRT's just prone to upset stomachs? If so, how can we help her. We switched her from Science Diet (which gave her a fit) to an all natural, high quality dry food. It seems to help somewhat. Thanks for any guidance that you can share.

Have you tried a grain free diet? Many dogs have trouble digesting grains. What does her vomit look like? Is it food or bile? If its food then it could be that she is eating too fast. Try putting a tennis ball in her bowl to slow down the rate of consumption. You can also try putting a few teaspoons of canned pumpkin to help with stools and yogurt to help with digestion. You may want to have the vet take a look at her to make sure she doesn't have parasites.
