Jun 14, 2012 Rating Recovery by: Jenny Our little guy had the surgery and has made a full recovery. You would never know he had issues the way he runs around! We were told it takes a while for the muscle to regrow but to give our Jack plenty of opportunities to run and exercise. It took a few weeks for him to really walk normally and then after that he was completely fine....sometimes if it's really cold out he gets a little stiff, but that's about it....and we had the surgery about 2 years ago.
