licking and chewing as dominance issues?

my two year old jack, Lucy is a great dog. listens well. very easy to train. but she will lick at our eyes like crazy whenever we lay down. and it goes on till we have to make her stop by sitting up. also she is NOT a chewer. we've never had her chew anything but her toys. but she will crawl up on my lap and lick the shoulder of whatever i am wearing then nibble at it. Are these dominance tactics?.

Thanks

I don't think it is a act of dominance but they are telling you that they love. Ours does that if you let him, he is just kissing us all over our faces. I do not think this is anything abnormal. Just keep pulling him away from your faces, and sternly say no. He will learn as they are extremely smart. They are now thing they are possibly the smartest dogs in the world. We sure think ours is. We adore our little guy. He is our baby.

Licking

Jacks like to lick you like crazy and my 4 year old Elvis does it constantly so I had to ask why he does it.It means that you are the Pack Leader and your Jack looks up to you and loves you totally with all of his or her heart. My Jacks licks my feet,Hands,Legs ,Face etc and that is what it all means.
