Jack Russell lump on leg

Usually a lump is a tumor or a fatty deposit. Usually they are benign but you should definitely check with your vet to make sure it is. I don't think they are painful for your dog to the touch. The vet will most likely do a needle aspiration to check the cells. The quicker you get this checked out the better the outcome if it is malignant! Best of luck and let us know how everything goes.
