My JRT/Beagle is 10 months old and has recently developed two lumps on her neck. They done seem to bother her at all but Im a bit worried - what do you suggest these are?

JRT with lumps on neck
by: Betty

If it feels like it is filled with fluid it could be a hematoma - they aren't life-threatening (provided they dont get infected) but still should be seen by a vet.

If your pup just got shots, it could also be from that.

I could also be a lymph node that got infected.

Best to check it out in case it winds up being something more serious, but I wouldn't worry too much, lots of dogs get lumps!
