We have two Jack Russells.Male and female. Jack ( the male ), is the one who i am refferring towards in this question. Jack's tail whilst walking around or wandering and when i give him a scratch always curled up towards him. however lately when i get time to scratch him just above his tail at his spine his tail curls to the side. it is an unusual curl in the way that he heavily lowers his rear and what appears to be forcefully curls his tail to the side. could this be brought upon by a type of worm?

From what you describe, I don't think so. It's probably when you are scratching you are hitting a specific nerve or spot that causes your Jack's body to react.
