Mr. X

hey i have a 10 month old jack russel. She used to be very active and full of life until i woke up one morning and found her depressed and unable to stand on her hind legs.
I took her to vet who did some tests and found that her liver reading were high. She said it was liver failure cause she might have been licking cleaning fluids off the floor when we cleaned it. She has lost all appetite and we feed her with syringes and she barely walks. She just stays in whatever position we put maybe cause its too painful to change it. The vet gave us 3 sets of injections that shes supposed to take every day but they havent improved her much. Her weight has dropped by half and we can even clearly see her rib cage and hips bones. Its been like this for the past 2 weeks with no improvement and i dont know what to do :( So can anyone plz help me?

So sorry to hear about your Jacks health. I would seek a second opinion from a different vet since it sounds like your pup isn't doing that well. Also, try your hardest to get him to eat and drink. You may have to use a syringe for liquids. Google "satin balls" to get a recipe to help fatten dogs up. Try looking into Milk Thistle (for dogs, not for humans) as a natural detox remedy. This website has links to a natural website called Native Remedies and they have a product called Liver Dr. There is another website called Pet well being that has a similar product.
Hope your Jack is ok!!
