JRT peeing on carpet
by: Brady

Dogs love to pee on rugs because it is an absorbent surface. I would try crating your Jack at night since dogs rarely pee where they sleep. Most dogs love being in a crate because it is a warm safe place. You can even cover the crate with a blanket at night to make it very dark for your Jack. Have you purchased enzymatic cleaner? You can get this at a pet store. It is the only cleaner that gets out the smell of urine for dogs. Other cleaners may get out the smell for humans but not for dogs. You may consider getting a new rug since even with the cleaner it is hard to get out the scent.
