our 22 months old bitch is in season now and it has affected more this time she is very clinging and wanting to be nursed and tummy rubbed and its awful to see her like this and because she has had her ball joint from her back-leg/hip we have been recommended to not breed from her , when is the best time to have her spayed she has been in season approx two and half weeks i would appropriate you advise many thanks.

Spaying a JRT after season

I was told to wait approximately 8-12 weeks after the season. That will give the uterus time to contract.
