I have a Jack Russell female of 18 months. We have had her for 6 weeks now. She is a rescue dog and all is going very well! We are thinking of getting another Jack Russell rescue dog. However someone said to me not to have 2 female JRT living together.. Should we get a male.? Would that be better. We have seen a female that is 6months old . Thank you!!

Male and Female JRT

From what I have read over the YRS male and female Jacks don't get along to well. I have owned a male and females for over 10 yrs now and had very few issues. You take your chances when doing so. And I would hate to see you have 2 very good dogs and then have to get rid of one because of behavior issues.
