My Jack Russell should have been named Sybill
Lulu, my 1 1/2yr old JRT/Border collie mix is an awesome dog. She's smart and well mannered. Yes, she is very energetic and exhibits many of the JRT traits but if any member of my family attempts to touch her while she is resting...watch out. It's like she takes on a totally different personality. She is aggressive, growls, bares her teeth and has lunged on several occasions. It's not just that she is sleeping and we frighten her awake, she can just be resting with her eyes open and while she does warn with a growl,it's really frustrating. We literally can't touch her. How can we curb this strange behavior? Is she just a cranky girl or should we be genuinely concerned?
