My jack Russell

by Emily
(Houma LA )

My jack Russell is about 1 and she is not fixed. She usually fights with my other dog about once a month but today she attacked my other dog 5 times over nothing. Does anybody know how to break her of this?

Dogs that aren't fixed are typically more aggressive. Female Jacks can be aggressive with other dogs especially if that dog is a female. The fact that the aggression is getting worse is a little troublesome. Some dogs exhibiting this behavior sometimes get worse and I worry your other dog will be harmed. I would consider getting a pet behavioral therapist to come to your home and give you some suggestions. And in the meantime keep both dogs separate and amke sure they are in different rooms at all times, have different bowls and different eating times.
I unfortunately would consider rehoming your Jack Russell since not all dogs do well together.
