My Jack is 10 months old and in the last 2 months he has become very skinny, I mean to the point that his butt bones stick out and his ribs stick out, I am very worried about him. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, I have a 14 month old Jack and he's always been very thin. He is only 13 pounds. I am so concerned but my vet is not, she said that it's nice to see a fit dog for a change. He's always been a fussy eater and I have to admit I give him scraps and I have to stop. He throws up now and again and I don't want to hurt him and clearly I am. Do you feed your dog table scraps at all? Sometimes they hold out eating their own food for our food.
Jacks mom and dad were good size dogs and clearly Jack isn't. I love him the size that he is though, he's a few pounds more than a yorkie.
If he's happy, and running around getting exercise I wouldn't worry too much about then weight.

Good luck...
