We recently aquired a new Jack Russell that is about 3 years old. He is very lovable and enjoys daily walks along with playing with my neighbors dog.

The problem...I can't find anything he likes to eat. Dry food or wet food can sit in his bowl for days. What am I doing wrong?...

Thanks

I have 2 Jacks and I feed mine Taste of the Wild dry Grain-Free it is called Sierra Mountain and I also home cook for mine here is the recipe it is super easy and I got it from a Vet I hope you make it for your baby I have passed this along to alot of people and everyone doggies love it and best of all you cook it in a CrockPot Here it is enjoy Im so sure your Jack will just flip over it like my 3 dogs I also have a Lab.Please pass it to all of your friends with doggies? Please email me directly to debwhite4@verizon.net and Please let me know how it goes and it is 100% Healthy!
This is all the ingrediants,Crockpot

Whole Chicken cut in half
Chicken Liver a whole Package
Can of Pumpkin
Fresh green beans Package
Package of Baby Carrots
Package of Yellow Squash
Pkg Celery
2 Sweet Potatos cut up
I sometimes put Broccili in it too you can mix and change all the veggie and you can even add fruit like Apples,Pears etc.
You start with putting in the whole chicken both halfs and then you put in the Carrots,Chicken Livers,Can of Pumpkin,Sweet Potatos and then you put as much water as you can to fill it up and them you let that cook for about 8 hours and I keep draining the fat out every so often
After that you cut up and wash all the veggies and put in the Celery,Squash and then I wait tgill about 1 hour before it is done and then you put in the green beans my 3 like the Green Beans crunchy
You cook it a total of 12 to 13 hours and it freezes well I use it as I need it .It lasts me a wek or 9 day for 3 doggies!

Good Luck and let me know when you make it?

what food to feed him

You should only leave food out for 5 minutes, then take it away, come back in 10 minutes. try again for three time. If he dosen't eat don't worry he will at next meal. You don't what them deciding what they will eat or not eat. My Jack russell is 5 months old and we had aweek after comming home from the kennals where he would sniff and have one mouth full or non.We only had to do it twice and it works. hope this helps.
