Papa Jack not happy with one son

by Phil Blan

I have 4 Jack Russells. I love them all, they provide important house protection for me as well. But I have a problem with the Alpha Male and one of his sons. Here is the pack:

Papa Jack
Mama Jack
2 Male Sons

One son he has no problem with, the other son he is constantly stressing and dominating him. This son is becoming stressed and seems sad. He sleeps alone from the pack and often sleeps in safe locations, like under tables and behind things.

Not sure what to do, I'd like to see them all get along.

Maybe try putting just the two of them in a room as a way of reintroducing the two of them. While they are together, with you present, pet the father dog first and really focus on him. Allow the two of them to smell and get to know each other.

Also, spaying the father dog will definitely help as well.
