Peeing on the beds, etc once in awhile

by Donnie Hurt
(Bristol, TN, USA)

I adopted a 3/4 mix Jack Russell 3 yrs. ago. He's house trained but once in a while he'll either pee on the bed or something else while we're gone. Not all the time though. Why does he do this and how do I stop this behavior?

Jack peeing on bed
by: Rebecca

Some dogs like to revisit where they pee so much sure you had a good enzyme based cleaner - regular cleaner won't get the scent out. Also, have you considered crating your Jack while you are out? Dogs actually like crates. Or you could confine your Jack to just one room, that might help as well.
