Playing with toys
by: Jim

Our rescue Jack didn't love toys either but someone on this board told me to try a Kong toy. They come in different shapes/sizes. Fill it with treats or peanut butter and it keeps them busy for a while, and mentally stimulates them. They chew it, they lick it, they kick it around - especially if it's loaded with treats. And sometimes I even fill it with peanut butter and kibble/treats and freeze it which keeps my Jack busier longer because it takes longer to get everything out. Her tail always wags when I give it to her and know she is more willing to play with other toys.
