Poorly jack?

by Jamie

I have a 4 year old jack Russell and she is usually full of energy, recently my dad has gone working away and. We have had a lot of hot weather, she's not being her usual sel and just wants to sleep and hide upstairs. She keeps getting hot ears and a warm nose. Any suggestions of what to do or what might be wrong

Sometimes when it's hot outside the energy levels of dogs can go down, they just want to be in a cool spot. If the insides of her ears look normal, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Better indicators of a dog's health are symptoms such as not eating, not drinking, or behaving oddly. It could be also that she is missing your Dad. Try extra walks and treats to see if that helps her perk up.
