puppy feeding times

my now 9 week old, JRT, Gyp, male, at 8 weeks he weighed 5lbs 1oz and the vet said healthy sounds. He was wormed. He has been allowed moistened puppy kibble all day long last 1/4cup scoop at 6:00pm. 1 and 1/4 cup full day ration, in 1/4 cup batches now. When he came home at 5 and 1/2 weeks he was eating 1/3 cup in 24 hours. My question is, at what AGE should I start trainning him to a twice daily feeding and is a 60% morning and 40% afternoon-evening split okay ? I could not find this anywhere in the book. Thank You.
