Robbin, I had my first very exciting introduction to JRTCA trials this past summer. If I wasn't already totally in love with JRTs, this would have put me in heaven. My 15 y.o. JRT/Beagle mix passed on New Year's day. Since I knew he was ill, I started looking around for a pure breed JRT. I have had several family members tell me that a pure JRT is going to be too much for me, but I really want to get the exercise, enter him in the lure coursing events and generally enjoy my Jack. Did you get someone to help you prepare for trials? Did you find a trainer to teach you and your jack? I would be interested to hear your trial tales if you have the time. I am also a member of JRTCA and would appreciate your advice. Please feel free to email me at mjelley1951@gmail.com

Robbin - I've got to say what a joy it is to see photos like this. Here's a JRT that would very likely be dead without your intervention, and here he is reaching his full potential and enjoying his days. Well done and keep up the good work.
