My Jack Russell Maggie May is 9 months old. I am worried that she might be showing aggression. She growls and tries to bite me if I pick her up on my terms or if I try to groom her, even just brushing. I also have a two year old wire haired terrier and they are very possessive over me. They get into fights to where they will not release their grip on each other. I have been bitten by Maggie while trying to break up the fight. Any advice would help.

I do know that female JRT,s are much more aggressive then males,I have 2 boy JRT,s Elvis and Patch and I was told you should never have 2 of the same sex in 1 house because feamles will fight to the death when they do fight.I have also heard that about males too but males are less aggressive then females....My 5YO Elvis was very aggressive and very alpha when I got him and ever since we got our second Jack he has totally changed you may want to bring a male into the house Maybe ???
