I got my Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix when she was about 6 weeks old, over a year ago. I live with my brother and parents and we all give her attention and love on her. She sleeps with me everynight and I am the primary one that is home with her all day. Lately, everytime I leave for a weekend or a few days (I usually leave her with my parents), she becomes upset and depressed. She has started running and hiding under my bed. I'm feeling kind of guilty, I'm getting married in June and moving out of state and taking her with me isn't really an option.
My family and I went on vacation for a week last month and left her at the vet. It took her several days to get back to normal. She didn't want to eat for a few days and she just didn't act normal.
I'm not sure if something is wrong with her, and I hate to ignore it if something is.
