My 1 year old jack Russell isn't his usual self today, he's shaking a lot and seems to be holding his back left leg off the ground, when he's resting on his side it's like he can't put it down no weight on it etc.. But I can hold his leg and move it and he's not bothered... Any ideas?? He's also off his food and isn't wanting to move much just lying shaking?

hello Hayley,

jack Russells are prone to disc problems in the spine...this would account for your little dog shaking.

Shaking can be a sign of pain...also jrts are food mad,so anything which stops them eating is serious.

I would see a vet as soon as possible!
